I think when you are a Russian oligarch like Roman Abramovich worth $20Billion, you make a lot of friends. However those friends are typically Brazilian or Nordic supermodels that are of little use when it comes to protecting you against all the people you pissed off along the way, which is why you need a yacht with missile-detecting radar, escape sub and armor plating.
